Hazardous Location

The enclosure air conditioners manufactured by Thermal Edge can be ordered to meet all hazardous location requirements for Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, and D. Most will meet all of the specifications for Zone 2, T4 rating. Many hazardous locations are also located in corrosive environments that need stainless steel housings and coated refrigerant coils. Therefore, a UL type 4X unit is recommended.
