In applications where dust, dirt, or other airborne contaminants are present, enclosure air conditioners must be equipped with a sealed enclosure that does not allow intrusion of outside contaminants.

Thermal Edge UL type 4 or 4X enclosure air conditioners meet the requirements for environments with dust from flour, coal, paper, wood, and other airborne contaminants that can damage your electrical equipment. They are UL and cUL listed and CE certified. The air conditioners are equipped with 2” pleated filters to keep the coated condenser coil and fan clean. A remote mount digital controller is also recommended for installation inside the enclosure.
